Cane Expressions Review!

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Everywhere that you go,you see people using a cane.  Most of them look alike, they are just that boring metal or wood looking. I for one, have a metal one and I have to admit that it is not very attractive. But I have to use it so,I trudge on with it daily. That is until I heard about Cane Expressions~as they have some awesome simple-to-use sleeves that slips over any standard cane.
Cane Expressions come in Beaded and Fabric styles, both solids and patterns. The cane sleeves are made from a stretchy, durable and machine-washable fabric~so they are very easy to take care of.
Keep Moving In Style is their motive! They make your cane to match your mood, personality,or outfit. These cane covers are so easy to use, just slip them on and off-nothing to it. In no time~you will be styling with your cane cover too! This would also make a great inexpensive gift for a friend or family member.

About Cane Expressions~
Rhonda's 75 year old mother was having issues with balance and with her knees. She needed to use a cane, but did not want to, as it made her feel old and it was unattractive.
A friend decided to bead her cane for her as a craft project. She took a beaded belt and glued it to the shaft of the cane. Rhonda's mom began using the cane and was delighted when people stopped her and complimented her on her beautiful cane.

This gave birth to~Cane Expressions~interchangeable cane covers that can coordinate with outfits, activities or hobbies. Our mission is to provide people with a level of dignity~which in turn will encourage cane use.
Rather than re-invent the cane, Pam Goldwasser and Dr. Rhonda Robinson created Cane Expressions~ a simple-to-use sleeve that slips over any standard cane shaft.
And with that, safety and style. KEEP MOVING IN STYLE is their tagline.

Price depends on the style with the color and print covers retailing for around $10. The elegant, beaded version designed for special occasions retails for around $50.
Cane Expressions can be purchased at the following retailers online~

Midwest Dairy Council~Dairy Makes Sense Giveaway!*CLOSED*

As you may have heard, June was National Dairy Month. June Dairy Month started in 1937, as a promotion to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the warm summer months.  Today, its rich history continues, with communities, companies and people from all over the country observing June Dairy Month in a variety of ways. In the Midwest, dairy farms and families often open their gates to visitors at breakfasts and tours , while grocery stores and other business feature dairy products during the month. Milk and other dairy products are great sources of vitamins and minerals. For years, we’ve heard milk “does a body good,” but research shows that many people don’t fully understand the whole story of the nutritional value found in dairy. According to the U.S government’s dietary guidelines, we should be eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt every day. Dairy products provide four of the seven nutrients Americans are missing the most, in...
