Sisters Kate and Melanie haven’t spoken to each other in years since a hurtful scene at Melanie’s wedding. Their parents, Wendy and Al, have let the pain of their daughters’ absence drive a wedge between them, and their tensions have led to a separation. Kate is determined to reunite the entire family for Christmas, and has the perfect spot… their old family home. The only problem is there’s someone else living there now.

My Review~
I love to watch Christmas movies~so when we had the chance to review this I knew that I wanted to see it. We watched it last night and I have to say that this is a great movie for the whole family to enjoy. There is something in it for everyone as it has a great message about family. No matter how long or what happened you need to know in the end it is the love inside that really counts.   There is some great singing by Kate and Melanie who are sisters Britt and Carly McKillip and also George Canyon. I will be adding this to my collection on movies to watch every year at this time,as it is one that you can watch again and smile!

You can order the DVD at Walmart right here

The DVD also includes a limited edition Norman Rockwell print!

Midwest Dairy Council~Dairy Makes Sense Giveaway!*CLOSED*

As you may have heard, June was National Dairy Month. June Dairy Month started in 1937, as a promotion to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the warm summer months.  Today, its rich history continues, with communities, companies and people from all over the country observing June Dairy Month in a variety of ways. In the Midwest, dairy farms and families often open their gates to visitors at breakfasts and tours , while grocery stores and other business feature dairy products during the month. Milk and other dairy products are great sources of vitamins and minerals. For years, we’ve heard milk “does a body good,” but research shows that many people don’t fully understand the whole story of the nutritional value found in dairy. According to the U.S government’s dietary guidelines, we should be eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt every day. Dairy products provide four of the seven nutrients Americans are missing the most, in...
