Kylie Minogue-Abbey Road Sessions Review

~Abbey Road Sessions~

I know most of you have heard of Kylie Monogue as she has been singing for 25 years. I love her music~so I was more then happy to review her new CD!  It was recorded in London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios with Kylie’s band and a full orchestra. The album features many of Kylie’s best-known hits and previously unreleased tracks. Over all sixteen tracks, one thing becomes very clear—stripped of her high-end pop production, the emotional resonance of Kylie’s songs has never been clearer, and her voice has never sounded better.

I loved all the songs from Motown so it is no surpise that my favorite song was  "The Locomotion". This is such a fun song. It reminded me of Band Stand~the only thing missing was Dick Clark! No matter who you are~you will find yourself dancing or singing along with this one. As I think that every wedding I have attended we danced to this!

Tracklist~
01 – All The Lovers
02 – On A Night Like This
03 – Better The Devil You Know
04 – Hand On Your Heart
05 – I Believe In You
06 – Come Into My World
07 – Finer Feelings
08 – Confide In Me
09 – Slow
10 – The Locomotion
11 – Can’t Get You Out Of My Head
12 – Where The Wild Roses Grow
13 – Flower
14 – I Should Be So Lucky
15 – Love At First Sight
16 – Never Too Late

Kylie will also be appearing on Dancing With The Stars on November 13th and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on November 14th to perform “The Locomotion.” I am really looking forward to seeing both of those episodes!

I love my house to smell good.I have candles and tea lights in almost every room. But it seems that no matter what I buy the scent just doesn't seem to last.I have spent so much money trying different ones and I swear that I should have bought stock in tea lights the way I buy them!! That is why I was super excited when I was asked to review some Scentsy Products. What is Scentsy~You ask?! Well~let me tell you~ Scentsy sells wickless candles, ceramic warmers and home-fragrance products.  A wickless candle, called a Scentsy Bar or a Scentsy Brick, is a highly fragrant wax bar that is warmed to release fragrance into the air. And they have over 80 scents to choose from! So~I know that you will find one that matches you too!  Because the wax is gently warmed rather than burned, it can hold more fragrance oil than a traditional candle. And, because there is no flame, there is no smoke, soot or lead. Scentsy wickless candles are a safer alternative to tradition...

Midwest Dairy Council~Dairy Makes Sense Giveaway!*CLOSED*

As you may have heard, June was National Dairy Month. June Dairy Month started in 1937, as a promotion to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the warm summer months.  Today, its rich history continues, with communities, companies and people from all over the country observing June Dairy Month in a variety of ways. In the Midwest, dairy farms and families often open their gates to visitors at breakfasts and tours , while grocery stores and other business feature dairy products during the month. Milk and other dairy products are great sources of vitamins and minerals. For years, we’ve heard milk “does a body good,” but research shows that many people don’t fully understand the whole story of the nutritional value found in dairy. According to the U.S government’s dietary guidelines, we should be eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt every day. Dairy products provide four of the seven nutrients Americans are missing the most, in...
