Zeiss Lenses and Educational Tools

I have been wearing glasses since the 7th grade so I know how important it is to get your eyes checked. But there are many things that I didn't know about getting the right pair of glasses. That is why I was so happy to see that Zeiss Lenses has offered these educational tools to help people who wear eye glasses better understand vision correction, eye exams and much more.
The educational materials cover four topics~
Facts to know about vision and lenses
Tips for selecting an eye doctor
Questions to ask at your next eye appointment
Facts to know about age-related vision changes.
Our eyes are our most important sense organ. And since each eye is as unique as a fingerprint, it requires a customized visual analysis at your optometrist. Carl Zeiss Vision understands the importance of talking individuality into account when rendering consulting and diagnostic services to people who wear glasses and of course when producing lenses for them.
Here are some questions to ask on your next visit~
What do you check for in an eye exam besides my prescription?
Can customized eyeglasses improve my vision quality and comfort?
If I have difficulty driving at night, what type of lens is recommended?
I learned a lot at Zeiss Lenses and I am sure you will too.
Did you know that we have to pay closer attention to our eyes after 40? And it is recommended that a eye exam is done yearly.
Check them out here. As we all want Better Vision!

Scentsy Review & Giveaway! 12/20*CLOSED*

I love my house to smell good.I have candles and tea lights in almost every room. But it seems that no matter what I buy the scent just doesn't seem to last.I have spent so much money trying different ones and I swear that I should have bought stock in tea lights the way I buy them!! That is why I was super excited when I was asked to review some Scentsy Products. What is Scentsy~You ask?! Well~let me tell you~ Scentsy sells wickless candles, ceramic warmers and home-fragrance products.  A wickless candle, called a Scentsy Bar or a Scentsy Brick, is a highly fragrant wax bar that is warmed to release fragrance into the air. And they have over 80 scents to choose from! So~I know that you will find one that matches you too!  Because the wax is gently warmed rather than burned, it can hold more fragrance oil than a traditional candle. And, because there is no flame, there is no smoke, soot or lead. Scentsy wickless candles are a safer alternative to tradition...

Midwest Dairy Council~Dairy Makes Sense Giveaway!*CLOSED*

As you may have heard, June was National Dairy Month. June Dairy Month started in 1937, as a promotion to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the warm summer months.  Today, its rich history continues, with communities, companies and people from all over the country observing June Dairy Month in a variety of ways. In the Midwest, dairy farms and families often open their gates to visitors at breakfasts and tours , while grocery stores and other business feature dairy products during the month. Milk and other dairy products are great sources of vitamins and minerals. For years, we’ve heard milk “does a body good,” but research shows that many people don’t fully understand the whole story of the nutritional value found in dairy. According to the U.S government’s dietary guidelines, we should be eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt every day. Dairy products provide four of the seven nutrients Americans are missing the most, in...
