Stand Up For Family

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of American Family Insurance for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

American Family Insurance  recently hosted a Stand Up For Family comedy show that the whole family can enjoy! As there are no adult situations to make the kids leave the room,or words that you don't want them to repeat. I love finding shows that I can share with my grandchildren

Bill Bellamy hosts this family friendly comedy show full of laugh out loud performances that everyone can enjoy. As they are some great comedians that talk about things that have happened in every day life~Just plain good humor. I really enjoyed watching all the videos as who doesn't like to laugh? It is a great way to not only start the day but it also reduces our stress levels.

The one that stood out to me was "Street Lights" . When my children were younger they all knew that as soon as the street lights came on that it was time for them to be in the house or else. As I felt that was long enough for them to be out. That way we still had time for baths~stories and brushing our teeth.

Family is very important to me and I was happy to see that all the videos are by AmFam

Midwest Dairy Council~Dairy Makes Sense Giveaway!*CLOSED*

As you may have heard, June was National Dairy Month. June Dairy Month started in 1937, as a promotion to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the warm summer months.  Today, its rich history continues, with communities, companies and people from all over the country observing June Dairy Month in a variety of ways. In the Midwest, dairy farms and families often open their gates to visitors at breakfasts and tours , while grocery stores and other business feature dairy products during the month. Milk and other dairy products are great sources of vitamins and minerals. For years, we’ve heard milk “does a body good,” but research shows that many people don’t fully understand the whole story of the nutritional value found in dairy. According to the U.S government’s dietary guidelines, we should be eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt every day. Dairy products provide four of the seven nutrients Americans are missing the most, in...
