This month we were able to review the 1870 Steak Sauce from Tavern Direct.
I love the taste of this sauce! It is flavored with Tangy tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and Worcestershire mingle with onion, garlic and a splash of lemon/lime.

We decided to try something different and use this with hamburger.

~Steak Sauce Burgers~

Ingredients~
2 Pounds Hamburger
Tavern Direct 1870 Steak Sauce
1 Small Onion~Chopped
1/4 Cup Green Pepper~Chopped
14 Saltines~Crushed
 1 Egg
To Prepare~

Make sure that the hamburger is fresh or completely thawed. Put in a big bowl~break up and add the onion~green pepper and cracker crumbs~mix just until blended. Add the egg and steak sauce and mix up lightly. Shape in to patties. Don't handle the meat too much~ as the heat from your hands begins to melt the fat and makes the patty too dense. Move it lightly from hand to hand and loosely make a patty.

Fry the burgers~ It should take between 10 to 16 minutes to grill a ½ inch to ¾ inch thick burger. As you are cooking~add more Tavern Direct 1870 Steak Sauce to each side.
Cook until they are as brown as you like them. Remove the burgers from the grill and cover them with aluminum foil. Allow the burgers to rest for five minutes before serving. When you give the burgers a chance to rest this allows the juices to distribute evenly throughout the burger for a much better taste.

You can serve these steak burgers with lettuce~tomato and onions.Or make it your own and use your imagination! Any way you serve the steak burgers they are great!

Scentsy Review & Giveaway! 12/20*CLOSED*

I love my house to smell good.I have candles and tea lights in almost every room. But it seems that no matter what I buy the scent just doesn't seem to last.I have spent so much money trying different ones and I swear that I should have bought stock in tea lights the way I buy them!! That is why I was super excited when I was asked to review some Scentsy Products. What is Scentsy~You ask?! Well~let me tell you~ Scentsy sells wickless candles, ceramic warmers and home-fragrance products.  A wickless candle, called a Scentsy Bar or a Scentsy Brick, is a highly fragrant wax bar that is warmed to release fragrance into the air. And they have over 80 scents to choose from! So~I know that you will find one that matches you too!  Because the wax is gently warmed rather than burned, it can hold more fragrance oil than a traditional candle. And, because there is no flame, there is no smoke, soot or lead. Scentsy wickless candles are a safer alternative to tradition...

Midwest Dairy Council~Dairy Makes Sense Giveaway!*CLOSED*

As you may have heard, June was National Dairy Month. June Dairy Month started in 1937, as a promotion to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the warm summer months.  Today, its rich history continues, with communities, companies and people from all over the country observing June Dairy Month in a variety of ways. In the Midwest, dairy farms and families often open their gates to visitors at breakfasts and tours , while grocery stores and other business feature dairy products during the month. Milk and other dairy products are great sources of vitamins and minerals. For years, we’ve heard milk “does a body good,” but research shows that many people don’t fully understand the whole story of the nutritional value found in dairy. According to the U.S government’s dietary guidelines, we should be eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt every day. Dairy products provide four of the seven nutrients Americans are missing the most, in...
