A Better World-A Facebook Game!

I have to admit that I am hooked on games..I love playing the games on Facebook as they are so addicting and every time that I go there it seems that I find a new game. And this time I would like to tell you about~

A Better World~ by ToonUps is such a fun game to play. It is a game that rewards players not just for in-game activities but also for real world acts of kindness and expressions of gratitude! Not like the other games that you see online~this one has no violence. It makes you feel better about yourself in real life and helps make positive changes. You can also play mini games as there are more then 15 locations for you to go!
One of them is The "Department of Do Good," which allows players to submit good deeds that they have done in the real world. Then the community can vote on whether they agree this was a good deed. You can also see what others have done and vote.

You then earn Do-Good Gold for doing good or by by visiting the Gratitude Grotto and saying what you are thankful for. The graphics are great in this game too~I can't wait to share this with my family and friends as I know that they are going to love it too! It is easy enough for my granddaughters to play and I really think that they would benefit from this game. As we all want them to be good people and what better way~then making it A Better World!

A Better World was created by ToonUps~A digital entertainment company that encourges a positive outlook and altruistic behavior for more than a decade.

So what are you waiting for?!? Go start playing A Better World Now right here

I love my house to smell good.I have candles and tea lights in almost every room. But it seems that no matter what I buy the scent just doesn't seem to last.I have spent so much money trying different ones and I swear that I should have bought stock in tea lights the way I buy them!! That is why I was super excited when I was asked to review some Scentsy Products. What is Scentsy~You ask?! Well~let me tell you~ Scentsy sells wickless candles, ceramic warmers and home-fragrance products.  A wickless candle, called a Scentsy Bar or a Scentsy Brick, is a highly fragrant wax bar that is warmed to release fragrance into the air. And they have over 80 scents to choose from! So~I know that you will find one that matches you too!  Because the wax is gently warmed rather than burned, it can hold more fragrance oil than a traditional candle. And, because there is no flame, there is no smoke, soot or lead. Scentsy wickless candles are a safer alternative to tradition...

Midwest Dairy Council~Dairy Makes Sense Giveaway!*CLOSED*

As you may have heard, June was National Dairy Month. June Dairy Month started in 1937, as a promotion to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the warm summer months.  Today, its rich history continues, with communities, companies and people from all over the country observing June Dairy Month in a variety of ways. In the Midwest, dairy farms and families often open their gates to visitors at breakfasts and tours , while grocery stores and other business feature dairy products during the month. Milk and other dairy products are great sources of vitamins and minerals. For years, we’ve heard milk “does a body good,” but research shows that many people don’t fully understand the whole story of the nutritional value found in dairy. According to the U.S government’s dietary guidelines, we should be eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt every day. Dairy products provide four of the seven nutrients Americans are missing the most, in...
