Have You Noticed A Difference Here Yet?!?

If not~I want to draw your attention to my new Blog Banner and Button! As I was recently given a little gift from a very talented lady~Mariah. She is the owner and writer over at Gingersnap Alley. If you get a chance go check her blog out~not only is she talented but she also is has some great advice on how to do things with your children or grandchildren.
 What is Gingersnap Alley?
The world is filling up with do-dads and gadgets. And that wouldn't be a bad thing if it weren't for the fact that it's slowly getting the drop on good old-fashioned imaginative play. I can fondly remember getting up at the crack of dawn, throwing on an old pair of tennis shoes, and just letting loose outside all day. I wouldn't go back indoors until very close to sunset. There was no worrying about batteries or figuring out what to play. I had everything I needed right there in my own head and I must say my childhood was a blast. This site is my dedication to those days and my chance to do it all over again.
The mission of Gingersnap Alley is to provide a safe, everyday ideas for activities that encourage healthier more meaningful choices for children ages 0-10 while giving parents the opportunity to bond with them if they so choose. I'm a very firm believer in the power of imagination.

Isn't that cool?!? She also has a giveaway going on right now so be sure to enter that~You can win a free toy from Etsy worth up to $20{She is even paying shipping} Enter here

And~you will want to come back here tomorrow as Mariah and I have a great surprise to announce that you won't want to miss!

Scentsy Review & Giveaway! 12/20*CLOSED*

I love my house to smell good.I have candles and tea lights in almost every room. But it seems that no matter what I buy the scent just doesn't seem to last.I have spent so much money trying different ones and I swear that I should have bought stock in tea lights the way I buy them!! That is why I was super excited when I was asked to review some Scentsy Products. What is Scentsy~You ask?! Well~let me tell you~ Scentsy sells wickless candles, ceramic warmers and home-fragrance products.  A wickless candle, called a Scentsy Bar or a Scentsy Brick, is a highly fragrant wax bar that is warmed to release fragrance into the air. And they have over 80 scents to choose from! So~I know that you will find one that matches you too!  Because the wax is gently warmed rather than burned, it can hold more fragrance oil than a traditional candle. And, because there is no flame, there is no smoke, soot or lead. Scentsy wickless candles are a safer alternative to tradition...

Midwest Dairy Council~Dairy Makes Sense Giveaway!*CLOSED*

As you may have heard, June was National Dairy Month. June Dairy Month started in 1937, as a promotion to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the warm summer months.  Today, its rich history continues, with communities, companies and people from all over the country observing June Dairy Month in a variety of ways. In the Midwest, dairy farms and families often open their gates to visitors at breakfasts and tours , while grocery stores and other business feature dairy products during the month. Milk and other dairy products are great sources of vitamins and minerals. For years, we’ve heard milk “does a body good,” but research shows that many people don’t fully understand the whole story of the nutritional value found in dairy. According to the U.S government’s dietary guidelines, we should be eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt every day. Dairy products provide four of the seven nutrients Americans are missing the most, in...
