The Castaways Book Review & Giveaway -3 Winners!*CLOSED*

                      ~The Castaways~
                              By~
                         Erin Hilderbrand

Full Description~

Greg and Tess MacAvoy are one of four prominent Nantucket couples who count each other as best friends. As pillars of their close-knit community, the MacAvoys, Kapenashes, Drakes, and Wheelers are important to their friends and neighbors, and especially to each other. But just before the beginning of another idyllic summer, Greg and Tess are killed when their boat capsizes during an anniversary sail. As the warm weather approaches and the island mourns their loss, nothing can prepare the MacAvoy's closest friends for what will be revealed.

Once again, Hilderbrand masterfully weaves an intense tale of love and loyalty set against the backdrop of endless summer island life.

This is the first book I have read by Elin Hilderbrand and now I am looking forward to reading more of her books. If you are looking for a great summer read this is it!

PAAS Easter Egg Dye and Heinz Vinegar Review

Easter is early this year,so we decided to dye eggs last night. You know that the Easter Bunny has got to get the baskets ready so we need to help with the coloring.{So~I am told by my grandson} We were super excited as this year we were sent some new PAAS Easter egg dyes to try.       This year, PAAS has seven new egg decorating kits, including Volcano Eggsplosion, a kit that uses melted crayon shavings to provide instant color and Touch of Velvet, a kit that uses double stick adhesives and flocking powder to create fun, fuzzy shapes on your Easter creations! For the brightest, most vivid colors, add one tablet and three tablespoons of Heinz Distilled White Vinegar to a PAAS Color Cup or a one-cup container. Once the tablet has dissolved, add ½ cup water and stir gently.      According to the PAAS  more than 180 million eggs a year are dyed with PAAS dye!   Also, to help keep hard-cooked eggs from cracking, add two tablespoons of Heinz Distilled W

Carmex-Summer Fun Bag And More Giveaway 8/15

Summer is in full swing~so chances are you are spending more time outdoors. Not only should you apply sunscreen but also make sure that your lips are protected. As there is nothing worse then dry~cracked lips. I have been using Carmex for as long as I can remember. I was so excited to see a package arrive from them! Carmex has a new flavor~Pomegranate. This new scent is awesome~I love it! Not too sweet and it makes my lips feel so smooth just like the others! Along with the Pomegranate flavor, they also sent me all their other flavors that I already use~lime twist~ cherry~original~vanilla and strawberry. Each Carmex lip balm has a SPF of 15 to protect your lips from the effects of the summer sun. So~you can wear these without having to worry about the bad rays! The Beach Bag that was sent it also very nice! It is a thick canvas and has the rope handles. There is also a little bag inside that zippers to keep your keys, loose change ect..I am loving this bag~it
