In the 1960s, acclaimed animation director Deitch, was selected to bring a new set of Tom and Jerry shorts to life. Adding his own distinctive style to the famous cartoon, Deitch worked with William L. Snyder’s Prague-based animation studio, Rembrandt Films to create 13 memorable shorts. My Review~Tom and Jerry have been a favorite of my kids for years. So when I saw this one,I knew that we had to watch this one with the grandchildren. They sat and watched the whole thing and they had never seen any of the cartoons on this. Some of them were new to me too!  is a release that collectors of classic animation and long-time fans of Tom and Jerry will not only enjoy but they will also appreciate this collection of theatrical shorts. The cat and mouse team have gone through a number of looks and changes over the years and this just happens to be one of them when Deitch took the short period of time. This DVD released on June 2nd.
