I have been using Ragú sauce for as long as I can remember. Sure the looks of the jar have changed over the years,but one thing that has not changed is the great taste of Ragú.
I was recently sent a coupon to try Ragú free from Crowdtap. And challenged to put a spin on a classic favorite.
I came up with my own recipe,and have shared it below.
Pasta With A Pep!
Ingredients~
1 Jar Ragú {You choice of flavor}
I used Cheese Creations
1/2 Box Large Macaroni
1 1/2 # Hamburger
1/2 Package Pepperoni{cut into 1/4}
1/2 Cup Diced Onions
1/2 Cup Diced Green Pepper
Garlic Powder
Salt and Pepper
Grated Italian Cheese{For Topping}
Boil water and cook according to package directions. As that is cooking,
Brown the hamburger with seasonings, onions and green peppers until no longer pink. Drain and add the pepperoni,and Ragú sauce and mix well in a greased casserole dish. Top with the grated cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is bubbly and brown.{About 25 minutes}
Enjoy!!
I served it with garlic bread and this is a recipe that I have now added to my book. Thanks to Crowdtap and Ragú it was delicious!
{I was sent the coupon to try the Ragú Sauce from Crowdtap. No monies were offered or accepted.All above opinions are my own.}
