Chicken Soup For The Soul-Think Positive For Kids Giveaway! 11/26

I just love reading, and when a new Chicken Soup for the Soul book shows up I have to stop what I am doing for a minute to look at the back of each one. This time we were sent one for the kids.

Give a child gifts that will last a lifetime - self-esteem, tolerance, values, and inner strength. This book is filled with inspirational stories for children and their families to share, all about kids making good choices and doing the right thing.

The values that children learn today will stay with them for the rest of their lives. This collection gives kids positive role models to follow in its 101 stories about doing the right thing and making healthy choices. You and your child will enjoy discussing the stories, making it a family event. Great for teachers to share with students too.

My Review~
I had a chance to look through this book and there are some great stories for the younger ones to help them deal with things that are stressful to them.I like that it can help handle bullies, make good choices and most of all try something new! I did read a few of the stories and they really did make sense,I can't wait to share this with the grandchildren as I know that they are going to love it too.

Scentsy Review & Giveaway! 12/20*CLOSED*

I love my house to smell good.I have candles and tea lights in almost every room. But it seems that no matter what I buy the scent just doesn't seem to last.I have spent so much money trying different ones and I swear that I should have bought stock in tea lights the way I buy them!! That is why I was super excited when I was asked to review some Scentsy Products. What is Scentsy~You ask?! Well~let me tell you~ Scentsy sells wickless candles, ceramic warmers and home-fragrance products.  A wickless candle, called a Scentsy Bar or a Scentsy Brick, is a highly fragrant wax bar that is warmed to release fragrance into the air. And they have over 80 scents to choose from! So~I know that you will find one that matches you too!  Because the wax is gently warmed rather than burned, it can hold more fragrance oil than a traditional candle. And, because there is no flame, there is no smoke, soot or lead. Scentsy wickless candles are a safer alternative to tradition...

Midwest Dairy Council~Dairy Makes Sense Giveaway!*CLOSED*

As you may have heard, June was National Dairy Month. June Dairy Month started in 1937, as a promotion to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the warm summer months.  Today, its rich history continues, with communities, companies and people from all over the country observing June Dairy Month in a variety of ways. In the Midwest, dairy farms and families often open their gates to visitors at breakfasts and tours , while grocery stores and other business feature dairy products during the month. Milk and other dairy products are great sources of vitamins and minerals. For years, we’ve heard milk “does a body good,” but research shows that many people don’t fully understand the whole story of the nutritional value found in dairy. According to the U.S government’s dietary guidelines, we should be eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt every day. Dairy products provide four of the seven nutrients Americans are missing the most, in...
