Based on William Joyce's the Guardians of Childhood book series, Rise of the Guardians is a gorgeously animated film about Boogeyman Pitch Black's attempts to spread darkness and fear throughout the world and the guardians' attempts to foil him. Charged with the duty of watching over the children of the world, guardians Sandman, North, Tooth, and E. Aster Bunnymund are loved by children everywhere. 

 The look of the film, with its 3D palette, is mesmerizing. As Fisher echoed in our Rise of the Guardians cast interview, the movie appears to have been painted by hand. Each stroke of color and landscape is a marvel.


 ~My Review~

I love animated movies,so as soon as this one arrived I grabbed a grandchild to watch with me!{I have to have a excuse you know..LOL} It did not disappoint,as the characters are great and the animation was fantastic.The voices are excellent and fit with each character.There are so many emotions from tears to laughter~this is a must see for families of all ages!  It takes you back to your childhood~as who doesn't believe in Santa Claus~The Tooth Fairy~The Sandman and The Easter Bunny?!?

    This movie looks very cute, and I cannot wait to see it. I was going to take the kids to see in when it was in the theatre but we never got around to it. I know my kids will like this movie because they love any movies about Santa or the Easter Bunny. When I was working my shift at DISH last night my friend told me it was released on DVD. I added it to my Blockbuster @Home queue through DISH right away so that it would be shipped right to my house. I won’t have to go looking for a Redbox that it is available at.
