The Bridesmaids DVD Party!

My granddaughters came over Saturday night and we watched one of the Most Funniest Movies of All Time!
                      ~The Bridesmaids!~
We laughed so hard during the movie~as we had not seen in the theaters. So before we watched the movie we decided to have some Punch!

Here is the recipe we used~

~Party Punch~
  • 1/2 gallon strawberry sherbet
  • 2 (64 fluid ounce) bottles fruit punch
  • 1 (2 liter) bottle lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage, chilled
Place sherbet in punch bowl. Pour in fruit punch and lemon-lime soda.
So easy and yet so good!!
And what's a Party without Food?!?
We had Cake and Diamond Rings all over the table! We also had the room decorated in Pink nad Black streamers everywhere!!

As you can see the girls loved all the decorations and we even had a bride and bridesmaids at our party!! We played games and just laughed with the kids!

Pink Popcorn was also made and served during the movie! This was a big hit and it was so easy to make!
We had a contest and as you can see by the pictures they are all winners so we could not pick just one! They all went home with a great gift bag that we made for each!

I would say that fun was had by all~as it was great to get the kids together. They had fun making their own bridal outfits and drinking their punch!!
If you have The Bridesmaids movie yet~I have some great news as the DVD is released today!! So~you can get it now too! You can also find Bridesmaids on Facebook!

{Disclsoure: Thanks to Universal and Think Jam for sending us  the Bridesmaid DVD and the gift card to purchase the party supplies}

Midwest Dairy Council~Dairy Makes Sense Giveaway!*CLOSED*

As you may have heard, June was National Dairy Month. June Dairy Month started in 1937, as a promotion to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the warm summer months.  Today, its rich history continues, with communities, companies and people from all over the country observing June Dairy Month in a variety of ways. In the Midwest, dairy farms and families often open their gates to visitors at breakfasts and tours , while grocery stores and other business feature dairy products during the month. Milk and other dairy products are great sources of vitamins and minerals. For years, we’ve heard milk “does a body good,” but research shows that many people don’t fully understand the whole story of the nutritional value found in dairy. According to the U.S government’s dietary guidelines, we should be eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt every day. Dairy products provide four of the seven nutrients Americans are missing the most, in...
