And~now that we have cut down on going out to eat~I had to find something to drink that will fit in to our budget that still tasted good.

We were sent the Lagar de Costa Albariño Wine to review. I have to admit that I am not a white wine person but figured I would give it a try..
About Them~

Lagar de Costa is a small family owned winery that's been growing exceptional old vines Albariño for three generations in the village of Castrelo, in Rías Baixas. This elegant, limited production gem is packed with clean citrus flavors, minerals, and briny notes of seaspray.

I am so glad that I tried this wine~as it was sweet but not overly. It had a smooth taste and no bad aftertaste like some of the others I have tasted. I really liked the sweet citrus flavors and I think that it had just a little touch of lemon which made it nice. I just think that Plonk Wine has found a white wine that I like!
You can see all this and more at Plonk Wine Merchants here
They also have a Monthly Wine Club that you will want to check out as you can get a great deal on some great wine! Check it out here

Scentsy Review & Giveaway! 12/20*CLOSED*

I love my house to smell good.I have candles and tea lights in almost every room. But it seems that no matter what I buy the scent just doesn't seem to last.I have spent so much money trying different ones and I swear that I should have bought stock in tea lights the way I buy them!! That is why I was super excited when I was asked to review some Scentsy Products. What is Scentsy~You ask?! Well~let me tell you~ Scentsy sells wickless candles, ceramic warmers and home-fragrance products.  A wickless candle, called a Scentsy Bar or a Scentsy Brick, is a highly fragrant wax bar that is warmed to release fragrance into the air. And they have over 80 scents to choose from! So~I know that you will find one that matches you too!  Because the wax is gently warmed rather than burned, it can hold more fragrance oil than a traditional candle. And, because there is no flame, there is no smoke, soot or lead. Scentsy wickless candles are a safer alternative to tradition...

Midwest Dairy Council~Dairy Makes Sense Giveaway!*CLOSED*

As you may have heard, June was National Dairy Month. June Dairy Month started in 1937, as a promotion to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the warm summer months.  Today, its rich history continues, with communities, companies and people from all over the country observing June Dairy Month in a variety of ways. In the Midwest, dairy farms and families often open their gates to visitors at breakfasts and tours , while grocery stores and other business feature dairy products during the month. Milk and other dairy products are great sources of vitamins and minerals. For years, we’ve heard milk “does a body good,” but research shows that many people don’t fully understand the whole story of the nutritional value found in dairy. According to the U.S government’s dietary guidelines, we should be eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt every day. Dairy products provide four of the seven nutrients Americans are missing the most, in...
