Dinosaur Train All Aboard Game Review

My grandchildren watch the Dinosaur Train show on PBS all the time. So~I was super happy to hear that we were going to be able to review the new game~

 Hop on the Dinosaur Train and follow the path through the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Mr. Conductor tells how many spaces you can move.Players will choose a character~Buddy, Tiny, Shiny, Don, Cory, Tank or Mr. Conductor.Then they try to move the fastest along the tracks. Landing on pocket watch spaces moves you closer to finish, but crossing spaces move you back. Be the first player to reach nest and win.
This game was so much fun! My grandchildren really liked that they could pick their own character.  Because it is so easy to play to they wanted me to let them play on their own after only one game. I liked the vibrant colors on here and that it teaches the kids to share~count and take turns. I love it when I can sneak games in like this as they are having so much fun that they don't even know that they are learning at the same time.

You can find out more about Dinosaur Train~

This game is recommended for ages 4 and up and is for 2-6 players.  It includes the game board, pocket watch spinner, 7 movers, 6 stand movers, and the rules of the game.  It retails for $12.99.

{I was sent The Dinosaur Train All Aboard Game to review~All opinions are my own.No monies were offered or exchanged}

Scentsy Review & Giveaway! 12/20*CLOSED*

I love my house to smell good.I have candles and tea lights in almost every room.But it seems that no matter what I buy the scent just doesn't seem to last.I have spent so much money trying different ones and I swear that I should have bought stock in tea lights the way I buy them!! That is why I was super excited when I was asked to review some Scentsy Products. What is Scentsy~You ask?! Well~let me tell you~ Scentsy sells wickless candles, ceramic warmers and home-fragrance products.  A wickless candle, called a Scentsy Bar or a Scentsy Brick, is a highly fragrant wax bar that is warmed to release fragrance into the air. And they have over 80 scents to choose from! So~I know that you will find one that matches you too!  Because the wax is gently warmed rather than burned, it can hold more fragrance oil than a traditional candle. And, because there is no flame, there is no smoke, soot or lead. Scentsy wickless candles are a safer alternative to tradition...

Midwest Dairy Council~Dairy Makes Sense Giveaway!*CLOSED*

As you may have heard, June was National Dairy Month. June Dairy Month started in 1937, as a promotion to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the warm summer months.  Today, its rich history continues, with communities, companies and people from all over the country observing June Dairy Month in a variety of ways. In the Midwest, dairy farms and families often open their gates to visitors at breakfasts and tours , while grocery stores and other business feature dairy products during the month. Milk and other dairy products are great sources of vitamins and minerals. For years, we’ve heard milk “does a body good,” but research shows that many people don’t fully understand the whole story of the nutritional value found in dairy. According to the U.S government’s dietary guidelines, we should be eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt every day. Dairy products provide four of the seven nutrients Americans are missing the most, in...
