~The Royal Wedding~
The wedding of Great Britain's Prince William and Catherine (Kate) Middleton dazzled the world in April 2011, and this BBC documentary, The Royal Wedding, is a must-have for all royal fans. Those who watched the long coverage on American TV will appreciate the care with which the BBC has edited the processionals to a very crisply moving hour-plus, covering all of the pomp and magic of the fairy-tale day. Even the most ardent anglophile, who's already gasped in admiration of the lovely Kate and her charming prince, will find The Royal Wedding the perfect remembrance of that day. It's all here~ from the sea of hats to the two kisses from the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the adoring crowds to see. The wedding ceremony itself is also quite lovely, with choirs who'd rehearsed for months, and a sermon of simplicity and depth for the solemn state occasion.
I tried to stay up to watch the Royal Wedding live but I didn't make it.Of course,I saw it later on TV. But now that I have this DVD to watch over and over anytime that I want. Kate Middleton in her beautiful long-sleeved Alexander McQueen gown is just beautiful~She truly does look like a Princess! And William in his military uniform looks so handsome. I am sure that this is going to be a keepsake for years to come.Most of my grandchildren are too young to have watched this on TV~so I will be sharing this with them as they come over to visit.As all little girls want to be a princess~and in the Royal Wedding they can see a real one.After the ceremony, William and Kate, newly christened the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, wave to adoring crowds and look genuinely happy.

{I was sent The Royal Wedding DVD to review~All opinions are my own.No monies were offered or exchanged}
I can't believe so many people watched the wedding. I'm sure it was really interesting but I feel so bad for those kids. I wouldn't want my life televised. Great review though.
