Peeps-My Favorite Moments!

In honor of the new Peeps and Company online store, SocialMoms and Peeps that asks I share my favorite PEEPS moments!

Where do I start? As long as I can remember I have been eating Peeps~as my grandmother was the first one to introduce me to my first Peep! She bought them all the time and way back when{Yes I am old}~they only came in the basic yellow and were chicks. I used to sit and eat them with her in her room before dinner and she never snitched on me one time..LOL As she lived with us when I was a child so we shared many talks over Peeps~just her and I.

Then there was another Peeps lover that ate them all thru the year~and that would be my Mother. She loved Peeps to no end. Imagine her excitement when they not only came in yellow but purple~pink and blue! We had all of these in every room in the house and also in the freezer.Mom could be seen with a Peep in the dead of winter~only one on the block too!

I must get my love of Peeps from them~as I have to admit that these are one of my favorite things about Easter! I love the sweet~marshmallow taste of them.I was so excited when I saw that they were in so many colors and had rabbits and chicks!

I have been getting Peeps since I was a little girl~and I personally think that my dad got the naughty ones because look at the picture I found in my parents things~
Good thing that I was the one to find that..What would my Mother have thought?! LOL

Not only are Peeps good just to eat out of the package~did you know that there are many recipes to make with them?!? This year I am going to make these for the grandchildren~

Don't they look good? I know that they will love them as much as me~after all I shared my love of Peeps with them too! As it wouldn't be Easter without my Peeps now would it?!? And,I will put many different colors on the cupcakes so I can leave the leftovers at home.A few more little Peeps won't hurt..

Scentsy Review & Giveaway! 12/20*CLOSED*

I love my house to smell good.I have candles and tea lights in almost every room. But it seems that no matter what I buy the scent just doesn't seem to last.I have spent so much money trying different ones and I swear that I should have bought stock in tea lights the way I buy them!! That is why I was super excited when I was asked to review some Scentsy Products. What is Scentsy~You ask?! Well~let me tell you~ Scentsy sells wickless candles, ceramic warmers and home-fragrance products.  A wickless candle, called a Scentsy Bar or a Scentsy Brick, is a highly fragrant wax bar that is warmed to release fragrance into the air. And they have over 80 scents to choose from! So~I know that you will find one that matches you too!  Because the wax is gently warmed rather than burned, it can hold more fragrance oil than a traditional candle. And, because there is no flame, there is no smoke, soot or lead. Scentsy wickless candles are a safer alternative to tradition...

Midwest Dairy Council~Dairy Makes Sense Giveaway!*CLOSED*

As you may have heard, June was National Dairy Month. June Dairy Month started in 1937, as a promotion to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the warm summer months.  Today, its rich history continues, with communities, companies and people from all over the country observing June Dairy Month in a variety of ways. In the Midwest, dairy farms and families often open their gates to visitors at breakfasts and tours , while grocery stores and other business feature dairy products during the month. Milk and other dairy products are great sources of vitamins and minerals. For years, we’ve heard milk “does a body good,” but research shows that many people don’t fully understand the whole story of the nutritional value found in dairy. According to the U.S government’s dietary guidelines, we should be eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt every day. Dairy products provide four of the seven nutrients Americans are missing the most, in...
