Dallas The Movie Collection Review!

 "The most successful primetime soap in TV history."~TVGUIDE.COM

Big D gets even bigger with three movies and a cast reunion! From 1978 to 1991, the TV series Dallas grew legions of fans with compulsively watchable tales of greed, sexy and schemes – most masterminded by smilin’ J.R. Ewing (Larry Hagman), the double-dealing oilman folks love to hate. Dallas was so popular is also spawned the four exciting pieces in this special collection, starting with a prequel (The Early Years) that sets the stage for the drama to come. The other three, starring Hagman and more beloved cast members, include reunion movies (J. R. Returns, War of the Ewings) that plunge a wheeling-dealing J.R. into plots to take over Ewing Oil and a fascinating retrospective (The Return to Southfork) brimming with clips, outtakes, and reminiscences from your favorite Dallas stars.

I loved Dallas when it was on~I remember setting my VCR if I wasn't going to be home to watch it. As every week there was something new happening! Watching these DVD's was so awesome as it was fun to watch how the whole Dallas feud started in the beginning.
It was a Sunday night, April 2nd 1978, that TV history changed forever when a new five part mini series made its debut on CBS. That show was Dallas, created by David Jacobs and went on to become the most successful show in the history of television.
If you are a old fan or a new fan~I give this DVD series a thumbs up as I loved watching the Dallas Gang get together again.It holds your attention and has plenty of action and drama with a little sassy in it!

You can purchase the DVD from the WB Shop here

{I was sent Dallas The Movie Collection DVD to review~All opinions are my own.No monies were offered or exchanged}

I love my house to smell good.I have candles and tea lights in almost every room.But it seems that no matter what I buy the scent just doesn't seem to last.I have spent so much money trying different ones and I swear that I should have bought stock in tea lights the way I buy them!! That is why I was super excited when I was asked to review some Scentsy Products. What is Scentsy~You ask?! Well~let me tell you~ Scentsy sells wickless candles, ceramic warmers and home-fragrance products.  A wickless candle, called a Scentsy Bar or a Scentsy Brick, is a highly fragrant wax bar that is warmed to release fragrance into the air. And they have over 80 scents to choose from! So~I know that you will find one that matches you too!  Because the wax is gently warmed rather than burned, it can hold more fragrance oil than a traditional candle. And, because there is no flame, there is no smoke, soot or lead. Scentsy wickless candles are a safer alternative to tradition...

Midwest Dairy Council~Dairy Makes Sense Giveaway!*CLOSED*

As you may have heard, June was National Dairy Month. June Dairy Month started in 1937, as a promotion to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the warm summer months.  Today, its rich history continues, with communities, companies and people from all over the country observing June Dairy Month in a variety of ways. In the Midwest, dairy farms and families often open their gates to visitors at breakfasts and tours , while grocery stores and other business feature dairy products during the month. Milk and other dairy products are great sources of vitamins and minerals. For years, we’ve heard milk “does a body good,” but research shows that many people don’t fully understand the whole story of the nutritional value found in dairy. According to the U.S government’s dietary guidelines, we should be eating three servings of milk, cheese or yogurt every day. Dairy products provide four of the seven nutrients Americans are missing the most, in...
