Think about why you wear your glasses. Do you need to wear them all day? Are they only for computer usage? Perhaps they are only for reading usage. Whatever the reason, this is important because it affects your pupillary distance. IF for everyday usage, select “distance" when selecting what you’ll be using your frame for. What if you only wear glasses sometimes or just for reading or computer usage? Simply select “reading"!

If you use your eyeglasses for reading AND distance, then you might want to consider multifocal lenses - like progressives. Most retailers will make progressive or bifocal lenses easey to find but, buyer beware, the frames you selected may only be compatible with reading OR distance correction - not both. Look for a simple symbol - like a green or red check mark - to tell you what you can use those glasses for.
