10 Holiday Survival Tips!

Waking up to snow this morning~reminded me that it is indeed winter! And~with winter comes the Holidays. If you are like me you start stressing out about everything that you have to do and it seems that you don't have time for yourself.

TwitterMoms and Tiny Prints have joined together with a blogging promotion to share tips about how to survive the holidays.
And~I have put together my 10 Holiday Survival Tips!
1~Start your holiday baking early.I like to mix up dough for cookies and then put them in the freezer.That way by the time it comes to start my baking I am one step ahead of the game!

2~Start picking stuff up for your dinner that will keep until then.can goods,cake mixes and more that is one sale will be fine until then.As there have been many sales on non~perishable items already!

3~As you buy your Christmas presents wrap them and put them away until the tree goes up.Once the tree goes up~add the presents and Enjoy!!

4~Make a budget and STICK to it~as I know how we can all get carried away with all the sales that are going on.But does that little one really need 4 baby dolls??

5~Take time for yourself.Maybe go out to lunch with your girlfriend or have a manicure. As you need to make sure that you are taking care of YOU!

6~Shop the internet.As many times you will find great deals online and around the holidays shipping is free! You can also look for discount coupons online too.

7~Start thinking about your holiday cards now.And this year I am going to order from Tiny Prints as they have so many beautiful holiday cards to choose from! I'm going to have a hard time choosing for sure!

8~Get all your Christmas things out now and start looking thru all of it to make sure that everything is complete and works.As I get so mad when I bring all the stuff up and I am ready to decorate and my favorite tree top is broke!{Yup~happened last year to me}

9~Involve the kids as much as you can.My grandchildren love to come over and help me decorate the house and wrap presents. We just turn on some Christmas music and away we go!

10~Enjoy your time with family and friends.And~  remember it's not how big the present or how much you spent.It is getting together to celebrate the most beautiful time of the year with each other!

Midwest Dairy Council~Dairy Makes Sense Giveaway!*CLOSED*

As you may have heard, June was National Dairy Month. June Dairy Month started in 1937, as a promotion to help distribute extra milk when cows started on pasture in the warm summer months.  Today, its rich history continues, with communities, companies and people from all over the country observing June Dairy Month in a variety of ways.
