A few years ago one of my very good friends lost her Mother to breast cancer. It was so sad to watch her suffer~through the chemo and radiation~get sick~lose weight and loose all her hair. She fought to the very end and she made quite a impression on me.As she would tell us that she knew that she was dying and she hoped that one day there would be a cure for Cancer for others...
It helped me deal with my own Mother when she got lung cancer. I don't like the word "Hate" and raised my kids not to use that word.As it is just such a strong mean word and I didn't feel that should be used in our house.
But I "HATE" Cancer!
I have not only lost my Mom to Cancer but many aunts~uncles and cousins. I myself even had Cancer many years ago and Thank God mine never came back! I pray for a cure all the time and by supporting each other and sharing our strength, we can work together to find the cure. You can help right now by sharing your Milano Moment.
As “This month, Milano is turning their packaging pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month and has launched a Facebook initiative to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. You can be a part of that mission by sharing your Sweet Milano Moments in life on Milano’s Facebook page.
When you share a Milano Moment, you help the fight against breast cancer because for every Moment shared, Pepperidge Farm will donate $.50 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
