Have you heard of Smelly Washer yet? As I don't know about you~but I tend to "Forget"when I am doing laundry as I start my laundry and then I get busy doing something else and before you know it it is bedtime! Then~in the morning I go downstairs to remember that I have laundry in the washing machine..
So~I decided to use my Smelly Washer Cleaner to see if it got rid of the odor in the washing machine. It was so easy to use~Just fill the machine up~add Smelly washer to the water and let it soak all night. In the morning you will be surprised with a fresh smell coming from your washing machine! It was great~as even if you don't leave your laundry in the washer~you still should clean your washer as from using soaps and fabric softeners you can get mold and mildew in them.YUCK!
One bottle of Smelly Washer is good for 24 treatments or up to one year. It's all natural and it works. For $16.99 (+ shipping) for an entire year's worth of treatments it's definitely worth it.

ReplyDeleteI visited Smelly Washer and from there I know how to clean a dishwasher.
ReplyDeleteThe best way to clean both a plastic and stainless steel tub dishwasher is to set it for a long, hot cycle such as “pots & pans” or “baked on goods”. ALLOW THE UNIT TO RUN FOR 15 MINUTES. Open the door and dash in 2 cups of WHITE vinegar. Shut the door and allow the unit to complete it’s cycle.

Washer odor is caused by using to much detergent and also by the use of liquid fabric softener.
ReplyDeleteThe liquid fabric softener leaves a residue in the washing machine that causes mold to grow.cardshark42(at)hotmail(dot)com

ReplyDeleteThe washing machine MUST be cleaned before attempting to get rid of the odor-causing mold spores from towels and clothing because the odor is being transferred from the washer to them.

fact of stinkiness: laundry stinkies are often caused by detergent that has not been fully rinsed, fabric softeners, and not using hot water in the wash. i'm starting to understand why hotels boil all their stuff...

ReplyDeleteI learned that Because softener is dispensed in the rinse cycle of a washing machine it leaves a residue on the inside of the outer tub. Odor-causing mold grows on this residue and is transferred to towels and clothing.
