 Danny the Dragon “Meets Jimmy” is a multi-award winning book, written by Tina Turbin.  She is not only a writer~but also  is a big supporter of  education~children and family. You can see and purchase all of Danny the Dragon things on the website here! She is passionate about many causes, especially Celiac disease, Autism, and gluten-free living.

Danny's mannerisms are absolutely charming and appealing as he strolls through the pages meeting Jimmy's family and friends in the MOST unusual way, imparting his delightful acts of wisdom and kindness while Skipper continues to take notes in his traveling journal for future adventures. Where are they from? Why are they here? Where are they going? Danny and his little traveling companion, Skipper, are quite the adventuresome and fun duo. I was lucky enough to be sent all the materials from Danny the Dragon Meets Jimmy! Not only was the book fantastic but the DVD was so interesting~as it not only does it follow the book it also has sign language in it!  

Danny the Dragon Meets Jimmy is such a cute little story~It starts with the family going to the beach and Jimmy finding a shell that says hello to him! He takes it home and tries to get it to talk and nothing. Finally
a green dragon named Danny~ crawls out of his shell complete with red tennis shoes and yellow backpack!
This is such a great book~to show kids of all ages that manners are so important. My grandchildren loved it and sat through the whole book with me~which doesn't happen to often.It also showed them that doing chores can be fun too! At the end of the book`as they are ready for bed Jimmy asks where Danny has been in all his travels. Danny says goodnight~I'll tell you another time! We can't wait for the next book to see what is going to happen.


The DVD shows that no matter what you look like~who you are we can all get along! The illustrations were wonderful and it went right along with the book.



The CD also has 10 classical songs for you to enjoy~along with narrating the book. It is so soothing and my grandchildren wanted to listen to this CD over and over..
